Dinner Is Coming: Game of Thrones Immersive Dining Experience

What?

Dinner is coming… and it’s going to be delicious. In a new immersive dining event hosted at one of Waterloo’s best venues for theatre, performances and art, The Vaults, Game of Thrones inspires dinner ‘Dinner is Coming’ will coincide with the launch of the final season of the hit TV show on HBO, and will give fans of the show a chance to spend an evening immersed in the weird and wonderful world of Game of Thrones.

The Vaults Theatre is a building with glorious Gothic architecture, having been converted from railway tunnels and arches into what it is now, a contemporary space for all types of creative performances – making it the perfect setting for this Game of Thrones inspired immersive supper event. The tunnels will be transformed into the world of The Several Kingdoms to set the scene, and the evening will include acting, comedy, murders, mysteries, challenges, celebrations, and an almighty feast fit for any king or queen of any of the several kingdoms.

Providing the immersive entertainment is the Vaults’ in-house creative team, directed by Sam Carrack. The food and drinks menu, designed by chefs Steven Estevez and Chavdar Todorov, sounds just as dramatic. Dishes include Wildfire Bouillon with asparagus, fava beans and lemon-verbena jelly, The Kings Feast with a chicken’s wings, cauliflower, sweet potato pie, a lamb’s shoulder, roasted potatoes and more, finishing off with ‘A Scarlett Ending’, a truly warming pudding with poached pears, red wine and cinnamon.

To get fully into the theme of Game of Thrones, guests should come dressed as such. This is your chance to pick the house you support and just go for it, whether you’re a wealthy Lady dripping in jewels or a rag-wearing peasant. All are welcome.

The theme of Dinner is Coming, aside from the overarching Game of Thrones theme, is the story of the marriage between the heir to The Several Kingdoms and the daughter of The Trywell Family. Celebrating this union, this immersive dining evening will be one of delicious foods, great drinks, comedy, drama and jolly good fun.
