Novikov’s Summer Foodie Masterclasses at Brent Eleigh Hall

What?

For the past four years, Novikov, a contemporary Asian restaurant in Mayfair, has been running a kitchen garden project in the small village of Brent Eleigh. Returning again to the Brent Eleigh hall this July, guests are invited to book places on the Italian Masterclass on Saturday 20^thJuly and the Asian Masterclass on Sunday 21^stJuly, for an elegant and interesting culinary practical learning experience.

Each masterclass will begin with a guided tour of the hall’s allotment which houses some of the fresh, seasonal ingredients that will be used in the masterclasses. After the masterclass, you’ll sit down to try the finished products at lunch which will be accompanied by different wines as chosen by Novikov’s master sommelier. Here’s what’s on the menu:

Saturday 20th July: Italian Masterclass

• Baby carrots and radish crudite’ with fresh basil pesto, Brent Eleigh mixed leaves salad with Balsamic dressing
• Tonnarelli in the parmesan wheel with courgettes
• Grilled sea bream with braised rain bow chard
• Lamb scottadito with grilled courgettes and mint
• Seasonal fruit salad with prosecco

Sunday 21st July: Asian Masterclass

• Fresh crudité with shiso mayo
• Duck salad with micro cress
• Mizuna and bulls blood salad leafs from the garden with fresh truffle and truffle dressing
• Grilled lamb with pickled courgettes
• Noodles with fresh mix garden vegetables
• Seasonal fruits with yuzu dressing

Either drive up to the village yourself or jump on the coach from outside Novikov near Green Park station in London which will then drop passengers back off the day after, following a typical Italian breakfast.
