Curriculum

Pupils enjoy a broad academic curriculum within a co-educational and academically selective setting. The children are encouraged to show ambition and commitment, develop resilience and be creative and intellectually curious.

Games & the Arts

We aim to enthuse every child regardless of ability and we believe sport should be fun and for all. The Arts are integral to our curriculum, and pupils take part in dramatic productions and musical performances throughout the year.

Pastoral Care

Pastoral care is at the heart of all we do – we respect our children’s worries and if it matters to them, it matters to us. Our priority is ensuring every child knows that they have someone to talk to and who those people are.

Recent Scholarships

Pupils have a guaranteed place for our Senior School, and many gain scholarships following the Senior School entrance exam

Head Teacher’s Philosophy

At Alleyn’s Junior, we aim to inspire, educate and protect our children. We help them to learn, grow and thrive on their journey to reach their full potential inside and outside the classroom. Most importantly, we strive to be a school where children experience the simple joys of childhood.

Outstanding Characteristics

We are a proudly co-educational community where excellence is achieved through a broad and balanced curriculum from Reception to Year 6. Our academic and co-curricular programmes are vibrant and demanding, stimulating our boys and girls and exciting their interests.
