Luxury womenswear label (and favourite of the Princess of Wales) Emilia Wickstead has just announced the relaunch of its bridal services for 2023, with the star of the show being a new collection of bridalwear.

Made up of gowns, veils and shoes, the collection is a love letter to the designer’s sophisticated and contemporary approach to fashion: think elegant silhouettes, sweeping skirts and pearlescent fabrics. Finding fame when she designed her own wedding dress in 2011, Emilia Wickstead’s bridal designs go hand-in-hand with timeless elegance and simplicity.

Comprised of 15 new bridal gowns, the collection has been ‘designed for the modern bride’, and showcases an artful blend couture-like, architectural silhouettes and relaxed shapes. Highlights include the the lace Consuela gown, a new design for the label, as well as updates of signature pieces from the archives, such as the Elenora sweetheart neckline gown and the bow-embellished Luna dress. For the first time, the designer has created a line of bridal shoes and accessories. This selection includes tulle veils and lace opera gloves, as well as capes and heels.

The campaign was photographed at Raffles London at The OWO, offering a grand Edwardian stage to show off the new collection.

Each item in the collection will be made by hand in London, using ornate Italian fabrics like duchess satin, silk zibeline and embroidered lace, and are created on a made-to-order basis. Pieces can also be altered and adapted to fit the wearer’s style as part of Emilia Wickstead’s demi-bespoke and bespoke services.

Those interested can take a look at the collection online, or explore the collection in person at Emilia Wickstead’s flagship store on Sloane Street. The bridal salon, with its sleek marble floors and silk-lined walls, is the perfect setting to find your dream dress.
