Following a total refurbishment and relaunch, The Memoir Club – a transformative reinvention of The Ambassadors Hotel – has been unveiled in the heart of London’s historic Bloomsbury.

The legacy of the Bloomsbury Set – innovators, writers, and artists who once lived and mingled in the charming Regency squares and in the surrounding local establishments – has been woven into every facet of the hotel’s transformation. The Memoir Club’s rooms have received a thoughtful and total makeover reminiscent of the art deco movement of Bloomsbury’s heyday. Besides the bedrooms, all public spaces reflects the artistic and intellectual vibrancy that once defined the Bohemian, liberal enclaves of the area.

Adeline Restaurant, the now-invigorated restaurant (named in homage to Virginia Woolf’s birth name) offers an innovative Eastern-Mediterranean menu. Inspired by Woolf’s travels, Adeline is a perfect hotspot for a long lunch or an intimate dinner.

You’ll also find an elegant bar, where you can unwind and relax with a distinctive cocktail, including plenty of imaginative creations named after other Bloomsbury luminaries such as the Champagne-based ‘Keynes Twister’. Outside, a stylish terrace area is tucked away, perfect for an alfresco bite or a relaxing sundowner.
