Meet The Team

Having co-founded the company in 2007, Jeremy manages all publishing and commercial aspects of the business. ‘I live a balanced life by… having two young children, a dog and coppicing in the New Forest.’

Co-founder Lucy is in charge of all things editorial, particularly driving C&TH's mission to make sustainability the most important luxury of all. ‘I live a balanced life by… leaving London at the weekends and thinking whether she could ever get a pair of beavers.’

Responsible for driving C&TH’s strategic vision, accelerating digital growth and overseeing company operations. ‘I live a balanced life by… making considered choices and favouring peddle power over other means of transportation.’

Overseeing C&TH’s financial strategy and operations, work for Gareth is balanced with a variety of tasks from strategy and people to numbers. ‘I live a balanced life by working then tending to my garden and growing produce – the tomatoes have been especially successful this year!’

Parm heads up the design and production team, collaborating across print, digital, strategy and all things creative. ‘I live a balanced life by… being super active during the week, eating healthily and juggling work and family. At the weekend I love a lie in followed by a bacon sarnie.’

Mia supports the Creative & Production Director in the design and production of all C&TH titles and supplements. ‘I live a balanced life by… taking time for myself to relax and recharge during a busy week.’

Lucinda looks after the day to day running of the print titles, as well as writing features and interviews. She specialises in culture, travel and interesting creatives. 'I live a balanced life by frequently losing my phone, withdrawing with my family at weekends and playing mediocre netball.'

Charlotte is passionate about saving the planet. As well as casting her eye about for exceptional interview candidates for the regular Scarfes Bar feature, she heads up all brand content for Great British Brands.

Alice's balance is appalling. She's always the first to wobble in a yoga class. Alice blames her life of instability on ridiculously small feet, a plentiful bosom and a head that's mostly – and happily – in the cumulus nimbus. But in her effort to live a balanced life, Alice brushes her teeth standing on one leg at a time.

Kerry is an award-winning editor with decades of experience across travel, luxury and lifestyle journalism, spanning national newspapers, magazines and global brand platforms. She began her career as PA to the editor of Marie Claire in the 90s heyday of glossy magazines, before moving into senior roles across newspapers and magazines. She went on to become Editor-in-Chief of British Airways’ High Life*, a role that took her around the world and shaped her reputation for authoritative, globally minded travel coverage. She continues to work with the title as Consultant Content Director. She has spoken at The New York Times conference on luxury travel and previously held senior editorial roles at The Independent, Condé Nast Glamour, The Evening Standard and Marie Claire.

Carole is the magazine's house detective, finding beautifully designed interiors to showcase in the magazine and online. She fulfils a balanced life by alternating the buzz of a job she loves and hosting the House Guest podcast with walking her two dogs in the quiet solitude of the Surrey hills.

Nicole styles and art directs the cover shoots along with the inside celebrity/ fashion stories. She also works with the commercial team creating bespoke editorial content for brands. ‘I live a balanced life by… staying active with a positive mind set. ‘

Nathalie is an advanced skincare specialist and make-up artist. With 22 years in the industry she has worked with talent including Gal Gadot, Olga Kurylenko, Jodie Whittaker, Joanne Froggatt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Michael Sheen and Ben Whishaw. Nathalie regularly collaborates with luxury brands with talent for red carpet events and on editorials with publications across the globe.

Ed served as the UK Government Culture and Digital Minister from 2010-16, and is the longest-serving Minister in that role. Ed currently serves as a trustee of the National Youth Theatre, the Documentary Society and London Music Masters, and is a patron of Kids in Museums. He co-hosts C&TH’s Breakout Culture podcast.

A life of opposites – town for work, country for home. Off to fashion shows or jewellery exhibitions one day, looking after grandchildren the next. Keeps it real.

Eleanor edits School House and Bursaries magazines, exploring the world of independent education.

Fiona has been immersed in the world of travel for decades. She splits her time between being a freelance journalist, always on the move, always with a deadline, and a regular carer for her two-year-old granddaughter.

Lisa is a multi award-winning journalist who has written about pretty much everything. Her passion is conservation: trying to make readers join the dots between the health of our planet and how we live our lives. She is happiest, she says, ‘anywhere in the wild: where I can see stars, smell leaves and breathe’.

Jeremy drives our car content, including The Green Lane weekly online review of all things electric and sustainable with ‘green’ expert Jessica Saunders. ‘I live a balanced life by… solar charging our test cars to harness the power of the sun.’

Tessa writes for our interiors, food and culture sections in print, and you'll also catch her covering sustainability across the board. ‘I live a balanced life by... periodically deleting TikTok and calling it a “digital detox”'.’

Rebecca heads up the online editorial team, collaborating with the commercial team on project work, and leading on digital editorial strategy. ‘I live a balanced life by… looking after myself so that I can look after others.’

Ellie works closely with Rebecca in managing the day-to-day running of the website, as well as creating the daily and weekly Staying In, Going Out newsletter. ‘I live a balanced life by… balancing a love for fitness with a love for going out eating and drinking.’.

Charlie oversees C&TH’s online style section, writing across fashion, jewellery, health and beauty, and regularly contributes to print issues. ‘I live a life in balance by… swapping new for secondhand (where I can) and reading books instead of phone screens’.

Olivia leads C&TH's online culture section, writing reviews, interviewing up and coming stars from the latest TV shows and films, and exploring everything that's going on in London right now. ‘I live a balanced life by… Winding down with friends, a good book, or yoga.’

Leads sales team to maximise revenue into the business and works closely with editorial to develop opportunities which will benefit our brand partners. ‘I live a life in balance by... morning run for a strong heart and body; art, theatre, music, travel and adventures to stimulate the mind; time with family and friends to nourish the soul.’

Camilla is the Publisher of School House which is the UK’s most respected magazine for the independent school market. ‘I live a life in balance by enjoying family, friends, books, baths, swimming, Pilates, walking my dog Minty and red wine in equal measure.’

Ellie manages the sales team and collaborates with brands to develop creative partnerships. ‘I live a balanced life by… escaping to the countryside as often as I can.’

Emma navigates the world of luxury fashion through the people she connects with and the partnerships created. A balanced life consists of work, play and family on equal measure. A love of the theatre, brings a form of escapism and often challenges the way we view our world and those around us, giving time for thought.

Part of the team since 2007, Mark manages the company's IT needs and user support. ‘I live a balanced life by... Eating healthily, enjoying exercise and the great outdoors and avoiding the news whenever possible.’

Lauren is responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business. ‘I live a balanced life by… making sure I take enough time for myself and becoming the master of multitasking.’

Ria is responsible for supporting the Financial Controller in preparing all the company's financial activities and accounts. ‘I live a balanced life by... Appreciating everything around me and remaining positive.’

Josie is responsible for overseeing the operations and logistics of events for the new Country and Townhouse Events division, including the newly launched Chelsea Arts Festival. 'I live my life in balance by spending as much time as possible with friends and family... and always ordering a side of fries (or two) with my salad.'
