Inside the brand new Wandsworth Common development

If your dream home looks more like a leafy cottage than a glittering skyscraper – but you can’t quite part ways with a London postcode – Wandsworth’s brand new development just might tick all your boxes. Here’s everything you need to know about London Square Wandsworth Common.

Inside London Square Wandsworth Common

There’s no denying that space is at a premium when it comes to London properties, but step inside the four-bedroom show home at London Square Wandsworth Common and you’ll feel as if you’ve just crossed the threshold of a sprawling country pile. Perched on the edge of the 32-acre Springfield Park, all of the residences boast a definitive rural feel – though you’ll spot a colourful contemporary edge in the show home, thanks to interiors by Thirteen Interior Design and styling by Laura Jackson.

You’ll find a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments, three-bedroom homes, and four- and five-bedroom townhouses across the development. While every residence is complete with private outdoor space, residents will also enjoy access to communal landscaped gardens – and, of course, the neighbouring parks; there are nine within just a three-mile radius.

The show home has been launched in collaboration with Laura Jackson, co-founder and creative director of homeware retail platform Glassette. The four-storey space is filled with show-stopping furniture pieces and bespoke artwork, from a handwoven Pelican House tapestry in the living room to a quirky Lucy Mahon print in the children’s bedroom.

A boot room and a study sit beside the living room on the first floor, while the lower level is dedicated to a spectacular kitchen/dining area featuring a double butler sink, an induction range cooker and even a huge utility room/pantry cleverly concealed behind handsome Shaker cabinets. Upstairs, the four bedrooms are colourful yet serene – just take a look at the picture-perfect principal suite, which encompasses an elegant dressing room and a sleek bathroom finished with brushed gold hardware.

‘We’re thrilled to unveil the four-bedroom showhome at London Square Wandsworth Common styled by Laura Jackson – a characterful yet refined space that aptly showcases what modern living could look like in the leafy neighbourhood,’ says Tim Gawthorn, group sales & marketing director at London Square. It seems that West London’s property scene just levelled up…
