A summer soirée in a spectacular location

Last weekend, A-listers and locals alike flocked to Sloane Street’s inaugural Garden Party, a summer celebration marking the area’s recent transformation. Here’s everything you need to know.

Sloane Street Garden Party: The Highlights

After a monumental makeover spanning more than a decade (and a rather impressive £46 million), Sloane Street has been transformed into a breathtaking, verdant boulevard – and what better way to celebrate than with a garden party?

While the sunshine was a particularly welcome guest at the inaugural soiree, 700 stylish attendees gathered to mark Sloane Street’s milestone. VIPs included designer Kimberley Garner, sports presenter Immy Barclay, and musician Matt Goss.

Ballet dancers performing in a private garden

Set within the lush private gardens of Cadogan Place, the party was complete with bars, food stalls, and even games. There were pop-ups aplenty thanks to Sloane Street’s resident boutiques and hotels, from Burberry and Boodles to L’Objet and Diptyque, as well as Jumeirah Carlton Tower and The Cadogan, a Belmond Hotel.

Workshops were hosted by the likes of artist Fay Bridgewater and the London Fine Art Studio, and guests were even treated to a performance by dancers from The English National Ballet School. Champagne, canapes and high tea was on offer, too, while children got stuck into painting sessions and balloon games. It looks like Sloane Street is officially in bloom, and a fabulous summer awaits…
