This summer, one of London’s most beautiful hidden green spaces is transformed into a celebration of exceptional cocktails, great food and long summer evenings – and one lucky Country & Town House reader will win the ultimate group experience. Read on for the competition details…
Cocktails in the City returns to the stunning Bedford Square Gardens in Bloomsbury on 2–4 July and 6–8 August, bringing together more than 20 of London’s most exciting bars for six days of al fresco drinking, dining and entertainment.
Normally closed to the public, the historic private garden becomes a vibrant cocktail village where guests can discover bespoke serves from some of the capital’s most celebrated bartenders, alongside live music, silent discos, tasting experiences and garden games.
New for 2026 is The Food Village, featuring a curated line-up of London’s most exciting dining destinations, including Hong Kong sensation Dim Sum Library, coastal Italian favourite Azzurra, tacos from 1910 Cantina and gourmet burgers from Meat Stop.
Visitors can also explore a series of immersive cocktail experiences including The Pan-Asian Collective, showcasing the influence of Asian flavours on contemporary cocktail culture, Coffee Cocktails 2.0 with Callooh Callay and Little Bat, and The Great Cocktail Collider, where leading bartenders reinvent classic cocktails in frozen, summer-ready form.
Adding to the sense of discovery is Hidden Society’s secret bar, tucked away somewhere within the garden and waiting to be found.
Whether you’re gathering friends for after-work drinks, celebrating a special occasion or simply making the most of summer in the city, Cocktails in the City offers a rare opportunity to experience many of London’s most sought-after bars in one spectacular setting.
Competition closes on 25 July 2026.
