‘In July, most of the month is influenced by Mercury in retrograde, as well as the energies of Cancer and Leo, which gradually give way to one another,’ says Tetiana. ‘This creates a mixed rhythm where periods of reflection, review, and emotional processing alternate with more expressive and outward-focused phases.’

Mercury Retrograde: 29 June – 23 July

We kick off the month with, you guessed it, Mercury in retrograde. ‘This lasts from now up to 23 July,’ says Tetiana. ‘So many routine processes may proceed more slowly or require double-checking. You’re more likely to experience absent-mindedness, distraction, misunderstandings in communication, delays, technical glitches, and friction with paperwork, transport, or travel. Old issues may resurface, and unfinished matters may need reviewing and finalising.’

New Moon In Cancer: 14 July

But it’s not all friction. ‘The New Moon in Cancer on 14 July shifts the overall pace of the month, encouraging you to focus more on rest, home, and your inner state. New developments and opportunities are most likely to arise in matters relating to housing, family, property, moving house, daily life, diet, sleep, children, and relationships with loved ones.’

Venus In Virgo: 9 July – 6 August

‘Venus’s transit through Virgo from 9 July to 6 August fosters a more practical approach to finances, shopping, and relationships,’ notes Tetiana. ‘Many will feel the need to plan their budget more carefully, keep track of their spending, and pay closer attention to detail. Priorities in relationships are also shifting: practical gestures, support, care, and responsibility are valued more highly than fine words or grand promises.’

Sun In Leo: 22 July

And at the end of the month, Leo season kicks off. ‘On 22 July, the Sun moves into its own sign of Leo for a month, so the general atmosphere becomes more active, vibrant, and optimistic. There is a growing desire to showcase one’s talents, engage in creative pursuits, relax more, travel, spend time with loved ones, and enjoy life.’
