Tinie Tempah returns for a third bumper series this summer

Looking for a new interior design show to binge? We’ve got just the thing. In Extraordinary Extensions, audiences join British musician Tinie Tempah as he heads up and down the UK in search of the most beautiful (and often ‘out there’) home extensions. And with series 3 set to kick off this week (episode one drops on Wednesday 29 July), there’s plenty to catch up on.

Tinie Tempah Returns For Extraordinary Extensions

Whenever we see a truly beautiful home, our first thought is often: ‘I wonder what it looks like inside?’ It’s okay to be a little nosy – some homes are simply meant to be seen to be appreciated. Especially when they come with a whole host of wow-worthy features.

This mindset is probably what made Extraordinary Extensions an instant hit. The show, which debuted on Channel 4 back in 2021, follows Tinie Tempah – musician, TV presenter and design enthusiast – as he meets homeowners from across the country who have tapped their inner architect to build some of the most stunning home extensions we’ve ever seen. From a curved eco-home with an underground pool to a high-tech 17th-century cottage, this is the show to watch if you’re looking for some seriously cool design inspiration.

So, what we can expect from the upcoming third series of the show? Read on for everything you need to know.

Who Hosts Extraordinary Extensions?

British musician Tinie Tempah has been hosting Extraordinary Extensions since the show first aired in 2021. While most may be more familiar with his work in the studio, the Brit Award-winning rapper and singer also has a keen eye for home design. ‘I’ve always been really into architecture and design and have been lucky to witness and be a part of some amazing projects,’ he told Channel 4 back in 2021. (He knows what girls like – it’s a kitchen extension with French doors and a marble bar.)

The show has become something of a passion project for Tinie, who has stuck with filming scheduled on and off for the last five years. And, two series later, his love for a great British extension still holds strong. Speaking on series 3, the musician said: ‘I can’t wait to discover how far this year’s creative, radical and adventurous homeowners are going to go to make their extensions extraordinary.’

Where Is It Filmed?

Extraordinary Extensions travels all over the UK to find the nation’s biggest, boldest and most playful home projects. In the last series, for example, Tinie went to Warwickshire, Peckham, Kent and London (to name just a few stops).

Series 3 follows a similar pattern – so far, we know that Tinie will be hitting the road and stopping by the likes of London, Surrey and the Norfolk Broads. Keep watching to see where he heads to next.

When Will Extraordinary Extensions Series 3 Be On TV?

And, with the show getting bigger with each instalment, series 3 is set to host its own bumper extension – boasting eight episodes compared to series 2’s six, and series 1’s four.
