Inside, ten individually furnished bedrooms sit alongside generous living spaces designed for spending time together. Guests can settle around the open fire in the drawing room, enjoy long dinners in the formal dining room, which seats up to 18, or retreat to the library. At the heart of the house is a welcoming country kitchen, complete with a five-oven Aga.

The house is surrounded by 28 acres of rewilded parkland, woodland paths and formal gardens, with an eight-sided labyrinth and countryside walks accessible from the grounds. Tetbury, Westonbirt Arboretum and Highgrove Gardens are also nearby.

Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, so four-legged family members can join the escape too.
