Great Scotland Yard Hotel Competition

Set within an iconic Grade II-listed building, the hotel occupies one of London’s most storied addresses. Great Scotland Yard was gifted to Kenneth III, King of Scotland, more than 1,000 years ago, before later becoming best known as the former headquarters of the Metropolitan Police. Today, the building’s extraordinary past is woven throughout the hotel, from its distinctive interiors and carefully curated artwork to subtle details inspired by the characters and stories connected to its history.

Each of the hotel’s 151 rooms and suites has been individually designed, with every bedroom acting as its own micro-gallery. Guests can also discover a collection of distinctive food and drink experiences, from fire-led dining at Ekstedt at The Yard to drinks at hidden speakeasy-style bar Síbín, alongside cocktails at infamous all-female gang-inspired bar, The 40 Elephants and award-winning Afternoon Tea at The Parlour.
