Six handsome homes are in the running to claim the prize

Who doesn’t love a property TV show? Well, Scotland’s Home Of The Year is almost wrapped up for 2025 – all that’s left to do is announce the winner. Here’s everything you need to know about the six finalists battling it out for the title.
What Is Scotland’s Home Of The Year?
Now on its seventh series, Scotland’s Home Of The Year (or SHOTY, as it’s more affectionately known) first aired in 2019. The premise is simple: three judges – architect Danny Campbell and interior designers Anna Campbell-Jones and Banjo Beale – travel around the country in search of the quirkiest and most impressive homes.
Each episode focuses on three homes from a specific Scottish region, and every property is scored against three categories: architectural merit, distinctive design and personal style. Anna, Banjo and Danny must then select one property from each region to take into the final, before crowning an overall winner.
Scotland’s Home Of The Year 2025: The Finalists
In the grand finale, the six finalists will come face-to-face with both the judges and their fellow competitors for the first time, getting a chance to take a look at every home on the shortlist. From new-builds to cosy farmsteads, the series has showcased a broad array of different architectural styles – but this year’s finalists are:
