Royalists will likely have heard of Diana: The Musical, the hit Broadway show that took over NYC back in 2021 (if you missed it, you can catch a filmed performance on Netflix) – and if so, they might also be aware that a concert version of the show is making its premiere in London tonight. Here’s what to expect from the show, and how to grab some last minute tickets.

How To Get Tickets For Diana: The Musical In London

What Is Diana: The Musical About?

As the name suggests, Diana: The Musical is a theatre production focusing on the life of the late Diana, Princess of Wales. The story is told in two parts, with the first looking at Diana’s younger years and the second her final years.

For the London special, Diana In Concert, director Owen Horsley has placed more emphasis on narrating the story – handing the microphone to ‘Diana’ herself as she looks back on her life. As was the case with the Broadway musical, the show will be soundtracked by 80s-inspired tunes. ‘On this stage Diana is in control of her narrative,’ says Eventim Apollo in the show description. ‘Her story is brought to life with humour and satire and in turn reveals a woman who, having just signed her divorce papers, sees a future filled with opportunity.’
