L’OCCITANE en Provence

Inspired by the South of France

Since launching in 1976, L’OCCITANE en Provence has been cultivating change, believing beauty goes beyond what the eye can see. From seed to skin, the brand prioritises the use of high-quality, traceable and natural ingredients in its skincare, bath, body, hair care and fragrance products. The company works directly with 130 producers and 10,000 pickers, from the Immortelle fields of Corsica to the lavender fields of Provence, to ensure ingredients are sourced as sustainably as possible to protect nature, limit its environmental impact and support local communities. L’OCCITANE’s intention is to create positive change and inspire everyone to do the same.

  1. L'OCCITANE protects nature by working with nature preservation charities and protecting over 1,662 varieties of plants.
  2. The brand is committed to reducing its environmental impact by offering eco-refills for its most popular products and in-store Refill Fountains.
  3. L'OCCITANE works with the charities Women’s Aid England and Women's Aid Ireland, to donate funds which will empower women and support survivors of domestic violence.
  4. By 2025, the brand’s bottles will be made from 100% recycled plastic and all plastic packaging will be recyclable.
  5. L'OCCITANE offers an in-store recycling service through its partnership with TerraCycle.
