The sixth formers were presented with the prize at an awards ceremony in London
At a grand awards ceremony on Monday, Brighton College was honoured with Best Play at the National School Theatre Awards (NSTAs).
The prize recognised the school’s sixth form production of Kafka’s The Trial (adapted by Steven Berkoff) earlier this year.
The nightmarish story lent itself perfectly to a striking performance by the pupils at the college’s 400-seat theatre.
According to the NSTAs, Brighton College ‘set the bar sky-high’.
