Karin Åkesson to Publish Her Debut Picture Book

Karin Åkesson will publish her first picture book this May.
Karin is an artist and designer from East London who has also become an author-illustrator.
The new book titled The Rainbow Snail will be released on the 18th May 2023 and is aimed at children aged between 0-3 years old.
Inspired during lockdown, the book used rainbows as a symbol of hope and nature. The book is also perfect for teaching children the colours of the rainbow.
Children will love the colourful illustrations in this book, which were inspired by Karin’s Swedish heritage.
The book is available for pre-order now.

Karin owns her own London based design company, Karin Åkesson Design, which produces wall art and gifts for children. These can also be found at Old Spitalfield Market on a Saturday or Sunday.
Her clients include The British Heart Foundation, Habitat, Saatchi and Saatchi and Veuve Clicquot.
