As part of the ISRSA, Mr Poxon will help draw up plans to keep religious education relevant and rigorous in the 21st century.
Mr Poxon said: ‘Understanding people for whom religion offers a central shaping framework for life is important, even if that is not the case for oneself. My nomination means that I can contribute to this conversation.’
