The Curriculum

The aim of Dulwich College is to develop the natural talents and abilities of each boy, giving them the opportunity to excel in every aspect of life. Staff seek to provide a secure yet challenging environment that encourages participation, curiosity and enquiry.

Sport & The Arts

An appreciation of all things creative is in Dulwich College’s DNA. Echoing the spirit of their south London ancestors, boys seize every opportunity to get involved in drama productions. The school boasts high standards and excellent facilities, including the Edward Alleyn Theatre. Dulwich College’s artists are curious, courageous and original which enlivens and complements the academic life of the college in a way that exists beyond the art studios. Confidence, resilience, teamwork, leadership are the values staff promote through sport and PE. Every Dulwich boy is encouraged to try as many different sports as possible.

Pastoral Care

The school’s pioneering wellbeing programme underpins school life. Designed to promote self knowledge and build emotional intelligence, boys learn about physical and emotional wellbeing. The programme comprises six strands: emotional health, spiritual health, physical health, living in community, healthy living and preparation for the future.

Exit Destinations

Boys go onto a range of top UK universities including Oxbridge, Imperial, the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and other Russell Group universities. Ivy League universities such as Harvard and Yale are also popular destinations.

Head Teacher’s Philosophy

To ensure that all our pupils feel equally secure and valued in a supportive community that encourages a sense of social responsibility. Our boys leave Dulwich having had their horizons widened and ready to embrace everything that life offers, thanks to the school enabling them to realise their potential through academic and extracurricular challenges.
