The Curriculum

An academically challenging curriculum with a focus on languages, including Label FrancÉducation-accredited French immersion programme to year four. Latin, Mandarin and Spanish. Small class sizes and expert subject specialists – in 2024, over 50 percent of all GCSE grades awarded were grades 9-8 (A*), with 31 percent attaining grade 9 (top one third of A*). 76 percent of all GCSE grades were 9-7 (A*/A). Ranked in the top 100 schools nationally for GCSE results in 2024 (The Times online survey).

Games & The Arts

Shortlisted as a finalist for a national arts and music award in 2025, the arts are strong with chamber choir, regular concerts and performances and individual music tuition. Pupils up to year four take RAD ballet lessons. Senior sports lessons are at excellent nearby facilities at St Mary’s university and Xcel Sports Hub, with senior rowing at the nearby Molesey Boat Club. Over 70 clubs offered throughout the year.

Pastoral Care

The school’s behaviour policy and award-winning pastoral care reflect its ethos as staff always ‘seek first to understand’, investing time in conversations with pupils and families. Winner of the 2025 Education Choices Developing Student Voice award. Tutor and house system ensures each individual is known and supported to flourish personally and academically.

University Places

A level students achieve a 100 percent Oxbridge and Russell Group acceptance rate, securing places on their first choice courses. In 2024, 30 percent of A level grades were awarded A*/A, with a 100 percent Russell Group application success rate.
