The moment has finally arrived: Charli XCX and George Daniel are married. (Again.) The couple swapped Hackney for Sicily this weekend, in a second destination wedding filled with family and celebrity friends. Here’s the lowdown on the pop star’s sophomore run down the aisle (plus all the details on Charli XCX’s second wedding dress.)

Charli XCX & George Daniel Are Married – Again

Fans have been waiting eagerly for a glimpse at Charli XCX’s second set of nuptials since it was revealed in July that the couple would be tying the knot once more – and it’s safe to say that the Brat Bride did not disappoint.

Charlie XCX and George Daniel married for a second time on Sunday (14 September 2025) in a lively wedding ceremony in the small village of Scopello in Sicily. Photos shared by DeuxMoi show the couple walking hand-in-hand, kissing at the altar and walking down the aisle together to the cheers of guests (including one elated Matty Healy). Later photos also revealed a pink champagne tower – which the couple happily topped up by the bottle.

The second celebration was reportedly much bigger than the couple’s first wedding in London – with a much longer guest list, to boot. Alongside close friends and family, the slew of A-list attendees included Troye Sivan, Amelia Dimoldenberg, Devon Lee Carlson, Shygirl and The 1975 frontman Matty Healy (who was accompanied by his mother, Denise Welch, and fiancée Gabbriette).

The big destination bash had been on the cards for a while, according to an inside source. Speaking to People in July, they shared that the couple were planning their second wedding, saying that ‘the party’s just getting started.

‘They’ve always dreamed of a big party in Italy,’ they added. ‘Somewhere beautiful and private, where all their friends can let loose. It will be star-studded. This was always the plan.’

A Closer Look At Charli XCX’s Second Wedding Dress

Charli XCX’s second wedding dress couldn’t have been more different than her first. The singer traded out the white Vivienne Westwood mini for a long, sheer white wedding dress by Danielle Frankel – which the designer described as a bias-cut, ivory silk chiffon slip gown with spaghetti straps and an elongated train. The floor-length dress, crafted from transparent chiffon fabric overlays, revealed a white boned corset and matching underwear underneath. Layers of bias-cut chiffon ribbons were also draped around the bodice and left to cascade down the back, joining a train decorated with hand-embroidered organza micro petals and dripping baroque pearls.

She paired the gown with a pair of pumps from the same designer, as well as a small bouquet of eucalyptus, baby blue and gypsophila. She also wore a set of rectangular silver earrings, a bracelet and a few rings, plus a pair of wraparound white sunglasses when the afternoon Sicilian sun made an appearance.

Unlike in London, where Charli XCX teamed up her mini dress with a veil, the bride opted to leave her hair bare for her second wedding – instead keeping the focus on her shiny dark hair, parted to the side with soft, barely-there waves.

Her husband, meanwhile, wore a greige suit over a cream button-down shirt – left open at the neck, sans tie – and black Oxford shoes.

Who Designed The Dress?

For her second wedding dress, Charli XCX sought out New York-based bridal designer Danielle Frankel. Specialising in custom, handmade creations, Frankel is known for masterfully mixing, layering and draping fabrics to create chic, sculptural silhouettes dripping in dainty details – resulting in a signature look that has made her a cult favourite amongst edgier, fashion-forward brides.

Such brides include Abby Champion, who Frankel dressed for her recent wedding to Patrick Schwarzenegger, as well as Julia Garner, Lucy Williams and Alex Cooper.
