The biggest celebration of British beauty comes back to the capital this October

From skincare to perfume and makeup, Britain is home to some of the world’s most renowned beauty brands. These are being celebrated in British Beauty Week, the British Beauty Council’s annual event – which returns from 20 to 26 October 2025, complete with an exciting line-up of panel discussions, masterclasses and events.

‘British Beauty Week is returning for the sixth year and it’s set to be bigger – and better – than ever,’ said Millie Kendall OBE, CEO of the British Beauty Council. ‘Beauty has a unique opportunity to propel creativity and responsible technology at a time when we need it most. This is the perfect moment to spotlight our success and take beauty to the next level.’ Here’s what to expect from this year’s edition.

British Beauty Week 2025: A Guide

What Is British Beauty Week?

Taking place each October, British Beauty Week is a nationwide event celebrating the beauty industry in Britain – and spotlighting its brands, creatives and socio-economic impact. The week-long event typically consists of a series of exciting virtual and in-person activities, masterclasses, panels and industry discussions.

What Is This Year’s Theme?

This year, British Beauty Week takes a new theme: ‘The Future of Beauty’. With this in mind, events throughout the week will dive more deeply into the topics of innovation (think AI-powered technologies and sustainable manufacturing techniques), upcoming consumer trends, the next generation of talent and what’s next for the UK beauty industry.

When Is It?

British Beauty Week runs from Monday 20 – Sunday 26 October 2025.

Where Is It?

Events take place throughout the UK, but the main British Beauty Week hub is in London – with its flagship Industry Hub event hosted at the Royal Society of Arts (RSA House, 8 John Adam Street, London, WC2N 6EZ). A number of activations and masterclasses also take place in Covent Garden, which is home to a long list of beauty shops and counters. Outside of London, you can find pop-ups located in the likes of Manchester and Yorkshire – as well as online events running throughout the week.
