The actress wowed on the red carpet last night

It’s a good day to be a Bridgerton fan. Alongside the release of the second half of season 3, we’ve been gifted plenty of cast interactions, Regency-inspired fashion and flawless beauty looks, courtesy of the premiere last night. But while all eyes turn to Penelope and Colin onscreen, it’s a different Bridgerton we’ve set our sights on offscreen – and Hannah Dodd’s stunning red carpet looks deserves all of the attention it’s getting post-premiere.

Hannah Dodd’s Bridgerton Premiere Look

When Hannah Dodd stepped out at the Bridgerton season 3 part 2 premiere, it was in a shimmering silver mini dress, mermaid waves and luminous makeup that rivalled the soft-glam of her onscreen character.

The star, who plays Francesca Bridgerton on the show, wore an all-sliver ensemble, comprised of a handcrafted metal mesh bustier dress overlaid with three-dimensional draping from luxury fashion house Versace, a pair of silver strappy heels decorated with vines and matching silvery accents in her hair.

Dodd’s glow was emphasised by her makeup look for the evening, which was created by makeup artist Sara Hill using Chantecaille products. ‘Hannah Dodd’s beauty look was a perfect complement to her stunning silver dress at the Bridgerton Season 3 premiere,’ says Hill. ‘To counterbalance the cool tones of her outfit, we introduced warmth into her makeup for a fresh, sun-kissed glow. Her skin radiated a healthy luminosity, with a delicate flush of pink on her cheeks that added a touch of soft elegance. This Rose Bud look encapsulated a perfect blend of freshness and sophistication worthy of this season’s Diamond.’

Her hair told a similar story of modern elegance. The look featured soft, brushed-out waves that echo one of summer’s biggest beauty trends: mermaid waves. It was created by hairstylist Paul Jones, who tells us that inspiration came from a combination of sources – specifically a Versace runway show from the 90s and the hairstyle sported by Daryl Hannah in the 1984 film Splash.

‘I used Hair by Sam McKnight products to create Hannah’s Bridgerton premiere look,’ Jones says. ‘I first prepped the hair with the Save The Do heat protector spray, before blowing it out and spraying Modern Hairspray on each section. I then created small and medium sized braids to give the hair that slightly frizzy look, then added more hair spray. It was then a matter of clamping the braids with a straightener, allowing them to cool, taking them out, and using a wide toothed comb to separate the braids. I then sprayed some Cool Girl texture spray for added volume.’

And what we thought were silver clips in the actress’s hair actually turned out to be a pair of earrings. ‘I hand-sowed a pair of earrings from Garrard into Hannah’s hair to complete the look,’ Jones explains. ‘They were not hair clips; I had to stitch them in very carefully so they didn’t fall out. After these were sown in, I finished the look with Love Me Do hair oil for an added red carpet shine.’
