And it bears a resemblance to a famous villa you might have seen on screen…

How To Stay In Surrey’s Love Island Villa Dupe
Heated pool, sunken firepit, cinema room… It’s Love Island through and through. But instead of the love-to-hate-it trashy ITV2 reality series, we’re talking about a gorgeous LA style mansion hidden just outside London.
Palmer Oaks may be hidden in the heart of the Surrey Hills, but it wouldn’t look out of place in the Hollywood Hills (or on ITV2). Surrounded by 14 acres of private land (featuring your very own croquet lawn), the immediate selling point is the heated outdoor pool. But there’s plenty more this mansion has to boast: sun-soaked terraces, curved sofas, a slick kitchen and a spacious dining room for convivial group dining. It’s all about indoor-outdoor living, with a hot tub, firepit, BBQ station and wraparound seating area for sundowners and debriefs all alongside that turquoise pool.

And for anyone committed to their gym routine, enjoy a fully equipped gym complete with Peloton, and wind down afterwards in the steam room. For more fun, table tennis, foosball and a private cinema all await.
But don’t worry: you won’t be crammed into one big bedroom. Six bedrooms sleep 12 guests, each equipped with the comfiest of beds, smart ensuites and oak tree views.

The Real Love Island Villa
The real Love Island villa is a private property near Sant Llorenç des Cardassar in Mallorca. Named Sa Vinyassa, non-contestants can stay in the villa when it isn’t being used for filming, priced at £5,000 per week. And don’t worry: the lurid, slogan-happy interiors will be removed; they are added, and refreshed, for each new season of the reality show.
When it’s not being used for filming, Sa Vinyassa is a rustic haven featuring wooden sunbeds, an infinity pool, exposed natural stone and shady wooden pergolas. The most striking feature (or lack thereof)? There’s no firepit.
