What to Do Today: See the ‘My Generation’ Exhibition

Last week Carnaby London launched an exhibition at 3 Carnaby Street to mark the forthcoming film My Generation, presented and produced by Michael Caine. The film follows the story of the swinging sixties, as told by the icons who helped shape that era: Twiggy, The Who, Marianne Faithfull, Vidal Sassoon, Jean Shrimpton, Lulu, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, David Bailey, Sandie Shaw and Mary Quant. This intimate walk down memory lane with Michael Cane examines the impact of the working class on 1960s British culture. My Generation was directed by David Batty and will be released 14, March.
The exhibition, curated by Zelda Cheatle, includes photographs, prints and previously unseen archive footage pertaining to the same legends who feature in the film.
