Now’s your chance to win an Italian escape at The Monteleone, nestled amongst Umbria’s sprawling olive groves and verdant countryside. Read on for the competition details…

The Monteleone Competition

the monteleone

Set on the border of Umbria and Tuscany, The Monteleone is a boutique hotel that opened in April 2026, in the hills surrounding Monteleone d’Orvieto – one of Italy’s most atmospheric hilltop villages. Home to 17 individually designed guest rooms and suites, the hotel sits beyond the village’s medieval walls, where olive groves and vineyards meet cypress-lined countryside that has remained largely unchanged for centuries.

The Monteleone occupies a carefully restored 19th-century home, where original architectural features and the building’s rural character have been preserved, with contemporary design elements woven throughout. Days are unhurried, whether spent beside the spacious outdoor pool overlooking the Umbrian hills, unwinding in the open-air spa, using the Technogym-equipped fitness room, or exploring the surrounding villages, abundant vineyards and nature trails.

The hotel’s Bistro and Pool Bar celebrates the culinary traditions of the region, with a menu shaped by seasonal produce and wines from local producers. From leisurely lunches to aperitivi, the focus is on slow living, shaped by the rhythms of the Umbrian countryside.

Competition closes on 1 August 2026.
