Step into an LV Dream from 12 December

Since its inception over 160 years ago, Louis Vuitton has dreamed big – across collections, collaborations and expressions. Now, these ideas and creators are being celebrated in a new exhibition in the former La Belle Jardinière department store in Paris. Here’s everything we can expect from the magical installation.

LV Dream: The New Exhibition & Culinary Experience Opening In Paris

A Louis Vuitton department store, cafe, and chocolate shop in collaboration with Cheval Blanc Chef-pâtissier, Maxime Frédéric: what more could you want?

Celebrating more than a century and a half of collaborations and pieces – think window displays, perfume bottles, specially commissioned trunks, and ready-to-wear collaborations – Louis Vuitton is inviting maison fans (Parisians and tourists alike) to experience the best of their brand with an immersive journey across nine rooms.

The rooms will be designed under themes such as ‘Louis Vuitton: As Seen By…’, ‘The World of Louis Vuitton According to Rei’ (dedicated to Rei Kawakubo, artistic director of Comme des Garçons, who envisioned two capsules for Louis Vuitton in 2008 and 2014), ‘Leather Goods in Fashion’, and ‘Art Meets Fashion’ (where a digital wall projects motion-sensitive animations adapted from collaborations with Daniel Buren, NigoÒ, Grace Coddington and Christopher Nemeth).

As well as the two never-publicly-seen-before portraits of Louis Vuitton (by Alex Katz and Mister Cartoon), a highlight of the experience will be Maxime Frédéric at Louis Vuitton, a cafe and chocolate shop overseen by the renowned Chef-Pâtissier, with sweet treats packages in emblematic boxes. Finally, peruse the gift shop for exclusive LV Dream products, small leather goods, accessories, fragrances and publications.
