These celebs are treading the boards
If this year’s Olivier Awards proved anything, it’s that London’s theatre scene is absolutely stacked with star power right now. And with so many stars on stage, we’ve rounded up some of the biggest names you can currently catch performing in the West End.
All The Screen Stars Currently Performing In The West End
Rosamund Pike in Inter Alia
Rosamund Pike takes to the London stage in Suzie Miller’s Inter Alia at Wyndham’s Theatre. Portraying the sharp London High Court judge Jessica Parks, Pike proved her work onstage is just as formidable as her iconic screen roles in Gone Girl and Jack Reacher, winning the 2026 Oliver Award for Best Actress. It’s also a chance to see her return to the stage after a 14-year hiatus with her last major appearance being Hedda Gabler at Theatre Royal Bath in 2010.
Following its sold-out National Theatre run, Inter Alia transferred to the West End in 2026, continuing at Wyndham’s Theatre on Charing Cross Road until June 2026.
Tom Edden in Paddington The Musical
From a galaxy far, far away to the streets of London, Tom Edden can be seen stealing scenes as the curmudgeonly Mr Curry in Paddington the Musical.
Film fans may recognise him from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, where he appeared as a First Order Officer, as well as Disney’s live-action Cinderella, in which he played a Lizard Footman. On television, he’s appeared in the BBC’s Upstart Crow and the period drama The Singapore Grip. As a true West End favourite, Edden scooped Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical at this year’s Olivier Awards. The production was the undisputed heavyweight of the night, taking home a staggering seven awards, including Best New Musical.
You can see the hit musical at Savoy Theatre in London’s West End.
Sadie Sink in Romeo and Juliet
Running from March to June 2026, Sadie Sink and Noah Jupe take on Shakespeare’s most famous lovers in Romeo and Juliet. They bring fresh star power to the classic tragedy as they move between balcony scenes and ill-fated romance beneath the stars of Verona.
Film and TV audiences will know Sink best from her role as Max Mayfield in Netflix’s Stranger Things, as well as her acclaimed performance in Darren Aronofsky’s The Whale opposite Brendan Fraser. She has also appeared in All Too Well: The Short Film, directed by Taylor Swift.
The production has already received lots of praise despite only debuting at the end of March, with Sink’s Juliet loved for her fiercely intelligent but defiant interpretation of the role. The show will run until June 20, 2026 at the Harold Pinter Theatre.

Johannes Radebe, Kinky Boots

Best known to television audiences for his performances on Strictly Come Dancing, Radebe has already made waves as Lola in the UK and Ireland tour, a role he now reprises for the West End run.
