Tips for non-alcoholic spirits
Remember that non-alcoholic and low-ABV spirits have a shorter shelf life than traditional spirits because, well, they don’t contain alcohol. So, in general, you should consume the spirit within two to three months of opening the bottle. Just as with your favourite gin or whiskey, the wrong mixer can completely ruin your mixed drink, so opt for a fine tonic water or how about mixing up some alcohol-free cocktails for your next dinner party?

Ovant
Ovant is an alcohol-free distillations brand, made in Margaret River, western Australia. Choose between three varieties, all containing no alcohol, sugar or calories. There’s Grace, a homage to gin botanicals; Royal, inspired by dark spirits; and Verve, a modern aperitif.
Seedlip
Already a stalwart on the alcohol-free spirits scene, Seedlip is a non-alcoholic gin (technically a botanical spirit) that launched in 2015. With three botanic mixes including Garden 108, Grove 42 and Spice 94 (the original), it is one of the closest to a G&T you can create with a decent mixer.
Atopia
From the team behind Hendricks Gin, Atopia is a gin alternative containing classic gin botanicals like juniper, orange and coriander. One of the more complex-tasting and spicy low-alcohol spirits, serve with a dash of tonic water, a slice of orange and plenty of ice for a refreshing evening drink.
Feragaia
If Scottish spirits tend to be your favourite, check out Feragaia, a distilled alcohol-free spirit made from 14 land and sea botanicals.
