Casamigos Tequila is taking over Soho this August

You can always guarantee a good time in Soho, but this August London’s party district is upping the ante even more by launching a mini festival.

Casa Soho: What To Expect At Soho’s Free Summer Festival

Run by Casamigos Tequila, Casa Soho is a two-day, free to attend event running from 12 – 13 August 2025. The festival will see some of Soho’s best-loved spots transformed into Casamigos party stages offering special drinks deals and hosting live music performances.

Festivities will be centred around historic pub The Blue Posts on Berwick Street, which will transform into The Teal Posts for the event (a nod to the tequila brand’s logo). Every day from 5 – 7pm, guests can head there for two-for-one margaritas, all the while enjoying Soho Radio’s live takeover of the venue. DJs including Joel Mignott, Goldie Quaker and Rachel Almeida all feature in the line-up, while wine writer Hannah Crosbie is joining forces with the founders of everyone’s favourite meme account, Real Housewives of Clapton, to host a pub quiz. Watch out, too, for nearby florist Leanne’s Flowers, which will be gifting complimentary blooms to passers by.

Other Soho venues are getting involved with the fun, too. Celebrity favourite Broadwick Soho is hosting rooftop DJ sets from the likes of Biig Piig, SKG, Donch and Jordss. Numerous bars are offering the two-for-one margaritas deal, including Black Tap, Bar Americain, Sucre and The George, while pizza joint Breadstall is offering a frozen margarita and Margherita slice deal.

Newsagent Good News Soho – which offers London’s biggest selection of newspapers and magazines – is also having a Casamigos-style makeover. Festival goers can stop by to pick up a Casamigos Map-arita: a zine made in collaboration with Polyster, which functions as the official Casa Soho guide as well as outlining cultural highlights from Soho.

‘Casamigos is proud to present CASA-SOHO, a celebration of the people and places that give Soho its unique character,’ says Kandace Williamson, Senior Culture and Entertainment Lead. ‘It’s a love letter to spontaneous after work drinks, Soho’s iconic entertainment and drinking culture, and the eclectic crowds of friends that gather here, which is exactly what Casamigos is all about. Casamigos quite literally translates to ‘House of Friends’ and that spirit is at the heart of CASA SOHO. It’s more than just a festival – it’s a gathering that celebrates connection, community and the joy of coming together this summer over a margarita.’

Casamigos was founded in 2013 by actor George Clooney, alongside long-time friends Rande Gerber and Mike Meldman. Its small-batch tequilas are made from agaves grown in Mexico’s Jalisco Highlands, with a variety of styles to choose from including the clean and crisp Blanco, the oaky Reposado, and the more refined Añejo.

Soho has long served as the city’s nightlife capital. After the Second World War, the area became known as London’s red light district, filled with strip clubs and sex shops. But its musical side was also flourishing – bands like The Rolling Stones and Black Sabbath would produce albums in its recording studios, and in 1959 Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club opened on Frith Street. During the 1970s and 1980s the borough’s LGBTQ+ scene started to flourish, thanks to the arrival of clubs like Heaven and Madame Jojos – the former of which recently reopened following a temporary closure (sadly Madame Jojos had its license revoked in 2014).

Nowadays, Soho remains a party hotspot: its streets are filled with an array of lively bars, pubs and restaurants. Institutions like The Blue Posts and Bar Italia sit alongside buzzy new eateries and members’ clubs, with tables spilling out onto the streets, and a vibrant atmosphere every day of the week.

Casa Soho runs from 12 – 13 August 2025, no pre-booking required
