From Guy Ritchie's live fire feasts to safari dinners at Knepp rewilding estate

Living in London, it’s easy to get caught up in the bubble of city life where a buzzy new restaurant seems to open every day. But when it comes to food, there’s lots of cool stuff going on across the British countryside, too, especially across the spring and summer seasons. From the Cotswolds to Somerset, hotels, restaurants and farms across the UK are hosting exciting supper clubs with top chefs – often set amid nature, just moments away from where the ingredients were grown. So which events are worth travelling for in 2026?

WildKitchen supper club set on a lake

Ashcombe Estate x Carousel, Salisbury

Filmmaker Guy Ritchie is opening the gates to Ashcombe Estate in Wiltshire once again for the summer’s most exclusive supper club series, which serves just 20 guests at a time. A partnership with London’s guest chef concept Carousel, the series takes place in Ritchie’s lakeside WildKitchen: a custom-built fire table set in the heart of Cranbourne Chase (which made a cameo in The Gentlemen). Over 22 weekends, guest chefs will cook a one-off tasting menu exclusively over fire; the line-up this year includes Chantelle Nicholson (Apricity), Luke Selby (Palé Hall) and Alex Claridge (The Wilderness). Alongside the al fresco feast, guests will be booked in for a two-night stay at Ashcombe Estate, home to a spa with its own wood-fired sauna and hot tub.
