Look out Annabel's, there's a new festive facade in town...

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas – and Kensington pub The Churchill Arms has kicked off the season with an outrageously festive Christmas lights display.

Take A Look At The Churchill Arms’s Christmas Display

The Churchill Arms is no stranger to grand gestures. The boozer is known for spending around £25,000 a year on flowers for its ever-vibrant floral facade, so it shouldn’t come as a surprise that it puts in just as much effort to make December feel satisfactorily festive.

Each year, the pub swaps out its signature florals in favour of decking the halls (or, in this case, outer walls) with Christmas trees – complete with festive illuminations. This year’s instalment features 80 Christmas trees scattered across the front of The Churchill Arms, with 22,000 lights acting as the display’s crowning glory. Alongside the trees and fairy lights, you’ll spot lit-up snowmen, reindeer, stars, moons and even a giant ‘HO HO HO’ sign next to the door.

The Churchill Arms turned on its lights on Friday 1 December, and will continue to light up cold evenings on the street until early January. Pop over to see the lights, try a spot of Thai food (it’s the pub’s specialty) and take a look at all the wartime memorabilia (not including the Winston Churchill cardboard cutout) that now finds a home at The Churchill Arms.
