Tennis-themed teas, pastries, drinks and more
Tennis fever is about to hit London as Wimbledon returns from 30 June – 13 July 2025. And if you didn’t manage to secure tickets this year, fear not: you can still get into the spirit at one of the many Wimbledon pop-ups arriving in the capital. Many restaurants, cafes and hotels get involved by introducing tennis-inspired specials – from themed afternoon tea to Pimm’s cocktails. Here are the ones not to miss in 2025.
Wimbledon Pop-Ups In London For 2025
Strawberries & Screen, Duke of York Square
Returning to Duke of York Square on the King’s Road this June is Strawberries & Screen, the much-loved Wimbledon viewing pop-up. Fans can catch live outdoor screenings of the men’s semi-finals, the women’s final and the men’s final while enjoying food from The Chelsea Grocer: think fresh strawberries and cream and Pimm’s. On Saturday, the Fine Food Market will be in action, offering an array of gourmet street food.

The Rubens at the Palace
Historic hotel The Rubens at the Palace has partnered with Champagne Lanson to host a Wimbledon pop-up throughout the Championships, titled Sweet Serve. Red Carnation’s Global Director of Chocolate and Pâtisserie Paula Stakelum (@paulapastry on Instagram) has created a limited-edition ‘Tennis Court’ Pistachio Cake, designed to be paired with a glass of champagne. The pairing can be enjoyed in The Leopard Room – or you can keep it classic with some strawberries and cream, which is available for takeaway to enjoy in the surrounding Royal Parks.

Donutelier
Cult London bakery Donutelier always pulls out the stops on its seasonal creations. This June, two Wimbledon-inspired treats will arrive on the menu: the Fraisier, made with chantilly cream and strawberries, and the Strawberry Cream Croissant, a butter croissant topped with strawberry jam. As ever, they’ll be artfully crafted and (almost) too pretty to eat.
