Sparkling conversation (and wine)

Last week, the ballroom of the Lansdowne Club, Mayfair, fizzed with talent from the world of design and decoration as we celebrated the launch of C&TH annual Interiors Guide championing this year’s 50 Finest Interior Designers and 20 Finest Gardeners & Landscape Designers. Lallier champagne flowed, beautifully presented and delicious canapés were devoured (almost as they arrived) and everyone mingled, finding old friends, making new ones and enjoying the surroundings of the Grade 11 listed 18th-century room originally designed by Robert Adam. Special thanks to Cole & Son for the fabulous front cover image, and our judges, Harriet Wetton of Narchie, fashion designer Edeline Lee, architect Richard Parr and, finally, furniture restorer and TV personality Jay Blades for helping to choose this year’s stars. Take a look behind the scenes of the 2022 Interiors Guide launch below…
