Nine-Year-Old Publishes Her First Book

A Year 4 pupil at St Augustine’s Priory has published her first book.

Miranda Sofia’s book is entitled ‘Poems and Stories for Little People (written by one)’, which is a collection of her imaginative work about friendship, family and the world around her.

She is the youngest author to be published by Wisdom House Publishing.

The poems have been inspired by her lessons on fables, the structure of poetry and even science.

Head of Preps and Pre-Preps, Ms Keane, said: ‘Poems and Stories for Little People is a wonderful achievement, we are all immensely proud of Miranda.’

Features stories include ‘The Magical Christmas Tree’ and ‘Rachel and the Sorcerers’ Duel’. 

Poems include ‘Dancing with the 4 times tables’ and ‘Flamingoes’.
