Which Items Have They Chosen?
So far Nate Berkus, Tan France, Jenny Walton, Naomi Elizée, Christian Siriano, Jonathan Adler and Simon Dooman have shared the reasoning behind their 1stDibs favourites.
Berkus explained that he has been obsessing over a pair of Italian neoclassical bedside tables (‘well not an obsession anymore because I bought them’) to fit into his Portuguese farmhouse. Meanwhile, Queer Eye star Tan France took to video to share that he’s been loving the 1950s Hermès Haut à Courroies bags (‘It is just the perfect bag and I want it desperately. So let’s see if that obsession becomes a reality’). Though Wanton found picking an absolute favourite from her cart to be ‘impossible to choose’, the one strange thing she has been loving lately are vintage Victorian rings carved with the face of the man in the moon, particularly the Heintz Bros ring with moonstone in gold: ‘I just love the idea of how random moments and movements in jewellery can come about […] They’re just so darling.’
Elizée similarly struggled to choose, admitting that there’s many things in her favourites folder which she’s been coveting for quite some time. But among all her finds, the one that stands out to her is the Fenty sequin baguette: the perfect Y2K inspired accessory to flaunt in the club. With her upcoming marriage, she has found herself gravitating towards its bridal champagne tones: ‘This would just be the perfect addition to all of my wedding looks.’
