Designmixer | Focus/26 On Design
Focus/26 On Design
Landing in the capital every September, Focus/26 on Design is a major luxury interiors event that brings together 700 brands across more than 140 showrooms and 30 pop-up House Guests, taking over Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour. Besides the brands on display, Focus/26 also comes with a free programme of more than 100 events, talks and masterclasses from leading designers – including Michael S. Smith, India Hicks, Lorenzo Castillo and Paolo Moschino. Talks will be hosted by some of the top editors in interior design, including C&TH‘s very own Carole Annett. Find out what to expect here.

London Design Festival
One to mark for your calendars is London Design Festival, the capital’s biggest event dedicated to art and design. The festival takes place in familiar hotspots across the city – including Brompton Road, Shoreditch and Mayfair – with the V&A Museum acting as the central hub for key installations and exhibitions. It celebrates and promotes the city as a design capital on the global stage, with a packed schedule of events, installations, talks, parties and workshops making it a hot event this autumn. Material Matters London 2025
Material Matters London
Coinciding with London Design Festival, Material Matters is one of the event’s key destinations. The multi-day fair explores the role of materials in architecture, interiors and product design, while bringing together a mix of global brands, emerging designers and material innovators. This year, the emphasis is on circular thinking, from living materials and regenerative biomaterials to reclaimed timber, recycled waste streams and experimental manufacturing.

The Decorative Fair
The Decorative Fair
At The Decorative Art Fair you’ll find over 130 specialist dealers showcasing antiques, fine and decorative art and 20th century design dating. Pieces date from the 1700s all the way up to the 1970s, with a wide range of price points making it one of the more accessible London fairs. The autumn edition, which takes place this September and October, is considered ‘the seasonal masterpiece’ of the fair’s yearly calendar.

PAD London
Another permanent fixture on the city’s art and design circuit is PAD London. The only fair in the UK that is exclusively dedicated to historical and contemporary design – and the sister fair to PAD Paris, which was launched in 1998 – PAD London offers a curated showcase of the world’s leading galleries, illustrating how combinations of old and new create the most striking interiors.

LAPADA Berkeley Square Fair (Gladwell & Patterson)
LAPADA Berkeley Square Fair
The LAPADA Berkeley Square Fair is an international showcase for art and antiques, with more than 80 exhibitors presenting work from across the art, antiques, design and decorative arts spectrum, including jewellery, furniture, carpets, tapestries, antiquities, clocks, ceramics, silver and fine art industries. Authenticity is assured thanks to a 70-member specialist committee pre-vetting everything on sale. With prices ranging from £500 to £500,000 and above, sought-after pieces appeal to both the established collector and first-time buyer alike.
