The Curriculum
Our innovative, skills-based curriculum is designed specifically to develop the crucial life skills young people will need in our rapidly changing world: skills in complex problem-solving, project and time management, critical thinking and creativity; resilience, communication, determination, teamwork and compassion.
Games & The Arts
We offer enormous choice and opportunity for students to participate at all levels and excel in a wide range of sports, both individual and team, in our thriving programme of creative and performing arts, and hundreds of clubs and activities.
Pastoral Care
Happy young people learn. We place student wellbeing at the heart of everything we do, ensuring our core values of Trust, Respect, Honesty, Kindness and Tolerance infuse every aspect of the educational experience. In our diverse and tolerant environment, students feel safe to question the world around them, develop their curiosity and creativity, give service to their community and to discover there is more in them than they know.
University Places
Almost all students go on to university (one-third to Russell Group in 2022) and to leading art schools and conservatoires.
Head Teacher’s Philosophy
‘At Cobham Hall, we are dedicated to building opportunities for students so they can achieve their best, academically and personally. We are committed to ensuring that every student is known as an individual and that their unique personality, talents and interests are nurtured and developed to the full.’
Outstanding Characteristics
Cobham Hall’s home is a beautiful 16th century manor house in 150 acres of historic parkland; an idyllic rural setting, yet less than 30 minutes by train from London and with excellent transport links. A member of the global Round Square network, internationalism is core to our ethos, and we welcome students from all over the world to our boarding community.
