The Curriculum

Godstowe provides an exciting and stimulating education that meets the needs of all our pupils, extending and broadening beyond the requirements of the National Curriculum. Our caring, friendly atmosphere creates a happy positive learning environment.

Games & The Arts

With specialist teachers for all subjects, children at Godstowe benefit from inspiring expertise. Art, Drama, DT, Music and Sport are taught as part of the curriculum as well as lots of opportunities to showcase their work.

Pastoral Care

Our ethos is simple. All we want is for our girls and boys to be confident, happy and successful. Indeed, if the first two are true, the third will almost certainly follow. At Godstowe, the wellbeing of our pupils comes first. Visitors often comment on the happy and positive atmosphere in the school. All our pupils are treated as individuals and we support and nurture each girl appropriately according to their own specific needs so that they can reach their potential both socially and academically.

Recent Scholarships

We are very proud of our girls and the scholarships they achieve when they go onto their next school. Full details can be found on our website.

Head Teacher’s Philosophy

A true love of learning and life sits at the heart of all we do. We strike a healthy balance between academic achievement and fostering key character and life skills that will enable them to lead fulfilling, happy and purposeful lives. We are a family school where our parents are valued as much as our pupils and there are many opportunities for families to be involved in the ever growing and vibrant community events and celebrations on offer every term.
