The Curriculum

We offer a supportive, caring, family atmosphere where inspirational teachers know their students’ strengths and build differentiated lessons to help them to grow and learn personally.

Games & the Arts

We’re closely linked to the international art gallery Hauser & Wirth Bruton, with opportunities to study resident artists closely. Sport is also of a high standard, with many students being chosen to play for their regional or national teams.

Pastoral Care

Student wellbeing is at the heart of all of our work, in school and in the boarding houses. All teachers are informed and actively committed to the pastoral aspects of school life. Our Wellbeing Hub is open at all times for student support and our Health Centre is staffed 24/7 during term time.

Recent University Places

This year, 100 per cent of students progressed to first-choice universities, 60 per cent Russell Group. Our results are award-winning.

Head Teacher’s Philosophy

At Sexey’s, each student joins us with their own individual skills, qualities and aspirations that it is our privilege and responsibility to grow, develop and nurture. We pride ourselves in our strong staff and student relationships, ensuring that every student feels safe, happy, cared for and valued.

Outstanding Characteristics

Tradition and community is extremely important to us at Sexey’s – students continue to play Squares, the game that has been passed down over generations of Sexeians, during their free time, with Old Sexeians often returning to school for a game.
