It’s that time of year again. The Celebrity Traitors kicks off series 2 tonight (1 October 2026), with 21 new A-list contestants heading to the Scottish Highlands for the chance to bag £100,000 for their chosen charity. But while the drama unfolds onscreen, we’ll be looking more closely at some of the series’ key moments, challenges and looks – more specifically, those worn by host Claudia Winkleman. Now the poster girl for fresh country fashion, her wardrobe has catapulted her into icon status. But where does Claudia Winkleman get her outfits from – and does she get to keep them after The Traitors? Let’s find out.

Does Claudia Winkleman Have A Stylist?
Yes, Claudia Winkleman works with stylist Sinead McKeefry on her outfits for TV appearances. The pair have been working together for two decades, having met through fellow TV host Fearne Cotton. ‘It’s been a long old relationship,’ McKeefry tells C&TH. ‘It was Fearne actually who introduced me to Claudia around 18 years ago. We just clicked instantly.’
But while there’s always been some interest in Winkleman’s wardrobe, the stylist emphasises that The Traitors has been a whole new experience. ‘It’s been pretty insane, I have to say,’ she says. ‘I usually get a great response from Strictly, but people hadn’t really seen Claudia in the outdoor elements before. It was new and exciting.’
Does She Wear Her Own Clothes On The Traitors?
Keeping the above in mind, no. Claudia Winkleman’s outfits on The Traitors are curated by her stylist, who either buys, borrows or rents items to be used on the show. Speaking to the BBC about series 3, Winkleman said that she had ‘snuck home a couple of pairs of gloves, but sadly most of it, I have to give it a little kiss whilst not wearing lipstick, and send it back.’
McKeefry creates 24 looks for each season: ‘There are 12 daytime looks, then 12 round table looks.’ And each series starts with a mood board, created by McKeefry to help refine the feel of Winkleman’s look for each iteration of The Traitors. In series 1 and 2, for example, the stylist explained how she ‘used old pictures of Amanda Harlech, some Jigsaw and Burberry campaigns from years ago. It’s also about having the right fabrics, textures, colours – and playing with them.’
From there, McKeefry builds each look from scratch, leaning into her mood board themes, practical styling and a dash of theatricality. ‘Within the game, there are the missions,’ she tells us. ‘The missions can determine whether we can be a bit more theatrical, but we often don’t know what those missions will be until we get there. So, we have to go out on a bit of a limb. Look at the Saint Laurent fringe coat, for example. And then there was the funeral challenge. That brief came very late – we had 24 hours to send a veil up to Inverness.’

Which Brands Does Claudia Winkleman Wear On The Traitors?
The basis for Winkleman’s wardrobe during the last two instalments of the show were British and Irish brands. ‘Purdey, Brora, Barbour, Dubarry of Ireland, Johnstons of Elgin – you know, all the heritage brands,’ says McKeefry. ‘And Claudia really naturally makes the clothes look quite cool. So, sometimes I can afford to put her in things that are a bit more traditional. She carries it. She makes it work.’
Alongside these homegrown staples, you’ll also find global-facing designer pieces – like the black fringed Saint Laurent coat, or the green Kapital jumper. These ‘twists’, as McKeefry calls them, help keep the TV host looking fresh out in the highlands.

What’s The Theme This Year?
Ahead of each series, Claudia Winkleman typically teases a theme for her upcoming Traitors outfits. For example, ahead of series 3, she highlighted ‘more knitwear, quite a lot of tweed… more big sweaters and at one point I try and look like an actual yeti.’ And for The Celebrity Traitors series 1, she described her wardrobe as: ‘Cruella de Vil with a touch of Miss Trunchbull… Unhinged in taffeta was where we went.’
The new series of The Celebrity Traitors is no different. Speaking to the BBC, the TV host said of her wardrobe: ‘I like the fact that it is “human crow meets golf caddy meets the Artful Dodger”. We’re pretty happy with it.’ We’ll find out what that means, eventually.

The Bella Freud Fit (Episode 6)
It was a full Bella Freud moment at the episode 6 Round Table. Stylist Sinead McKeefry tapped the British designer for Claudia’s blazer, trousers and shirt (which came with its own silk tie), finishing off the look with a pearl necklace and Church’s loafers.
The Striped Knit (Episode 6)
Claudia Winkleman considerably brightened up breakfast in this episode. The Traitors host swapped her recent monochrome fits for a bold striped Celine knit (now sold out), alongside khaki Nili Lotan cargo trousers and Miu Miu boots. For the challenge, she topped off the look with a classic Barbour jacket, Herd wrist warmers and a Johnstons of Elgin beanie.
The Lace Shirt (Episode 5)
The star of the show at episode 5’s Round Table? Claudia Winkleman’s puff sleeve lace shirt. Her stylist sourced the shirt from Judy R Clark (one of her new favourite brands for the series), and styled it with a knitted Johnstons of Elgin vest, black ME+EM trousers and polished black shoes from Church’s.
The Fluffy Coat (Episode 5)
This week kicked off with another fabulous coat moment from Traitors host Claudia Winkleman. Dressed head-to-toe in black, she stepped into breakfast wearing a long-sleeve COMME des GARÇONS shirt (complete with buckles and harnesses), Nili Lotan trousers and Bottega boots – before amping up the drama with her Challenge additions: a fluffy trapper hat (secondhand, sourced from Depop), Hambro & Miller wrist warmers and a long faux-fur coat from the 2025 M&S x 16Arlington collaboration.
The Return Of The Kilt (Episode 4)
It’s the return of Le Kilt. For this episode Round Table, Claudia Winkleman pulled on the label’s signature black kilt – a staple for the show, featured for the first time in The Traitors series 3 – alongside a pink COMME des GARÇONS button-up shirt with a rounded collar, and Grenson shoes.
The Chopova Lowena Skirt (Episode 4)
Another episode, another killer skirt. Stepping away from her usual kilts and tartans, Claudia Winkleman geared up for another day in the castle in a grunge-inspired skirt from cult label Chopova Lowena. Taking up the drama below, she layered up her top half with a black cable knit jumper and, for the challenge, an oversized black shearling bomber.
The Red Tartan Skirt (Episode 3)
Tartan and Fair Isle are back on the agenda this week. Stepping out in a mostly monochrome fit, Claudia Winkleman’s outfit this time around consisted of a black knitted jumper from Uniqlo, black tights, black Grenson Chelsea boots, for the challenge, a thick black bomber from Paul Smith. The colour was only broken up by a band of red tartan at her hips, courtesy of a McQueen mini skirt, and a pair of Brora Fair Isle wrist warmers (now sold out) that similarly featured pops of red.
The Funeral Look (Teaser & Episode 3)
We first caught a glimpse of this Round Tale look in the teasers for The Celebrity Traitors series 2, as Claudia Winkleman prepared for a rather morbid ‘VIP’ funeral. We’re pleased to see it get another outing in the series itself. Dressed for the occasion in black and white, our host wore a knitted charcoal vest from British knitwear label Genevieve Sweeney, layered over a simple white shirt. The main point of drama, however, comes from London label Connolly, in the form of a textured black maxi skirt in epic proportions.
The Black Doll Dress (Episode 2)
The first Round Table of the series deserves a little drama – and thankfully, Claudia Winkleman’s evening outfit from episode 2 brings this in spades. Stepping into her usual monochrome evening attire, the show’s host wore a SHUSHU/TONG taffeta dress with a bubbled skirt and white bow detailing on the front, layered over her usual black turtleneck, with a pair of embellished shoes from Noir Kei Ninomiya. According to stylist Sinead McKeefry’s Instagram, she’s been sourcing more and more labels from Dover Street Market.
The Preppy Vest (Episode 2)
We’d say this look pretty much nails Claudia Winkleman’s series 2 fashion summary: ‘human crow meets golf caddy meets the Artful Dodger’. For episode 2’s breakfast scene, she hones in on preppy details – a knitted tank from new knitwear favourite Genevieve Sweeney, black cigarette trousers from Nili Lotan, and a crisp white Purdey shirt – while adding a slight edge with a pearl wallet chain from Simone Rocha, and a brown-soled take on her usual Bottega lug boots.
Wearing the same outfit for the challenge, the switched up the styling for the outdoor setting with a Barbour jacket and striped Brora wrist warmers.
The Tartan Two-Piece (Episode 1)
Episode 1 is here! Kicking off The Celebrity Traitors series 2 with all-new challenges and all-new contestants, our first look of series 2 sees Claudia Winkleman heading out to the loch for some casual pirating. Ready to weather the Scottish breeze, the TV host can be spotted in a brown bomber from SKYE By Brora, alongside a Vivienne Westwood tartan trouser kilt sourced from secondhand platform Vestiaire, and her trusty Bottega boots.
The Moss Kilt (Teaser)
What would a fresh instalment of The Traitors be without a teaser from the castle? Ahead of the second celebrity series, host Claudia Winkleman took a seat in the castle library – donning her signature knits and kilt. The kilt, of course, comes from Scottish favourite Le Kilt (one of Winkleman’s go-to brands), which she teamed up with a Brora sweater vest and Hambro & Miller wrist warmers (recently put back in stock).
The Hero Cape (All Seasons)
A staple for every instalment of The Traitors, you won’t catch a series without spotting Claudia in her black Luxury Family Affair poncho, red leather fingerless gloves (of which she apparently has a drawer full), black leggings and her chunky Dr Martens boots. You can’t go wrong with a classic.
