The Oscars 2026 Gift Bags Are Here (& They’re Stacked)

As one of the most influential awards in the world, it’s safe to say that the Oscars embodies the phrase ‘go big, or go home’. With an A-list guest list, a historic venue, a premium menu and some of the year’s biggest releases in film, the Academy Awards certainly doesn’t do things by halves.

The 98th annual ceremony will take place on Sunday 15 March in LA’s iconic Dolby Theatre, led by host Conan O’Brien and presented by former Oscar winners Adrien Brody, Kieran Culkin, Mikey Madison and Zoe Saldaña, as well as fellow A-listers Javier Bardem, Chris Evans, Chase Infiniti, Demi Moore, Kumail Nanjiani and Maya Rudolph. Two major performances are also scheduled for the evening: Miles Caton and Raphael Saadiq will perform ‘I Lied To You’ from Sinners, while Ejae, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami, the singing voices of HUNTR/X in Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters, will give a rendition of ‘Golden’.

The guest list is also expected to be similarly star-studded, with the likes of Michael B. Jordan, Jacob Elordi, Jessie Buckley, Elle Fanning, Paul Mescal, Timothée Chalamet and Emma Stone all set to make an appearance.

The Oscars goodie bags are similarly an impressive feat – and have gained more and more attention over the years due to their increasing flamboyancy. Last year’s, for example, was valued at nearly $220,000 USD (approximately £163,642) and contained luxury-level swag, including luxury cannabis, liposuction and a holiday in the Maldives, as well as disaster recovery services to aid those impacted by the LA fires that took place in early 2025.

And for 2026, it seems the team behind the gift bags, Distinctive Assets, is determined to level up its offering.

Who Gives Them Out?

The ‘Everyone Wins’ Nominee Gift Bags are given out every year by Los Angeles marketing company Distinctive Assets – not the Oscars themselves. Organisers of the awards haven’t given ceremony attendees official gift bags since 2006, due to tax scrutiny.

The gift bags are curated by Distinctive Assets founder Lash Fary, who has been working on the project for over two decades, and given out to only official Oscars nominees from the year’s cohort.
