Get involved in the London Fashion Week festivities with Miu Miu’s CustoMIUzation project…

…Even if your LFW tickets got lost in the post.

Visit the Miu Miu New Bond Street store from tomorrow for your chance to personalise one of their bags in madras leather or denim with a selection of playful patches, perfect for tapping into the customisation trend that’s hot for AW16.

Patches include varsity designs seen in the Miu Miu AW16 ready-to-wear collection, as well as ‘love’ ‘kiss’ and ‘forever’ slogans.

We also love the brightly-coloured star design, now synonymous with the Italian brand.

Choose from 12 designer patches and work with a dedicated artisan, flown in for the event from Italy, to create your one-of-a-kind luxury handbag.

The process will take roughly 30 minutes per bag and if you want to get your hands on one of these personalised designs, hurry, because there are a limited number available.

The trend for customisation continues to thrive on the high street and beyond, with brands like Itchy Scratchy Patchy (the customised clothing and patch brand launched by model Edie Campbell and business partner Christabel MacGreevy) gaining momentum and Anya Hindmarch’s sticker shop going from strength to strength.

With summer drawing to a close, what better way to add a little sunshine to your day than with a playful fashion patch (or four)?

Visit the Miu Miu New Bond Street shop from tomorrow, 16 September 2016, to customise your own bag.
