Market Place is making its way to the City

Lunchtimes are about to get a whole lot more exciting for London’s city workers, with a huge new food hall set to open this May in St Paul’s – the latest opening from Market Place.

Market Place Is Opening A New Food Hall In St Paul’s

From sourdough pizza to Greek street food, a wide range of food will be on offer at Market Place St Paul’s. Set across two floors, the 6,834 sq ft hall will play host to nine traders, as well as bars, live DJs and pool tables.

Foodie highlights will include Bangkok-inspired street food from Thai House, gyros and halloumi fries from OPA, Caribbean patties from Hot Scotch, Aussie-style sushi from Rolled and crispy duck pancakes from Duck Shed. Tikka Nation will also be serving its charcoal-grilled tikka, while Argentinian Grill will offer South American-style meat cooked over flames.

The food hall will also run a series of events, kicking off with a comedy night from Market Place favourites Fin Taylor and Laura Smyth. Plus, diners can enjoy craft beers and cocktails from two bars, and play pool at one of the full-size tables dotted around the basement area.

This will be the fourth London site for Market Place, which has venues across Peckham, Vauxhall and Harrow.

Blake Henderson, Managing Director of Market Place Food Halls, said: ‘The City has been crying out for a dining concept that matches its energy. We’re not just opening another food hall, we’re creating an escape from the hustle and bustle of the corporate world where deals get celebrated, teams connect, and everyone from interns to CEOs finds their new food obsession.

‘We’re thrilled to be welcoming a mix of traders to our venue, some old friends of the brand, and some exciting new additions. One thing’s for sure we can’t wait to welcome everyone down!’

Market Place St Paul’s will open on 27 May 2025, marketplacefoodhall.com
