'BRiMM is about rewriting the rules of how we buy and give back'
When it comes to shopping with a purpose, no one is doing it quite like BRiMM. The newly launched lifestyle platform curates all of its products with the planet in mind – with a focus on not being an ‘everything’ store, but an ‘enough’ store. So, what can we expect from our new favourite marketplace? Here’s everything you need to know.
BRiMM: Is This The Future Of Online Shopping?
Combining a planet-positive online shop, journal and collective, BRiMM is changing the way we shop – and for the better. Launching today, the platform marks an interesting shift in the consumer landscape. Shoppers are more plugged in than ever, and they want to see the impact of their purchase make a positive change. (A 2024 study, for example, showed that at least 20 percent of people are now aiming to prioritise sustainable brands for their future purchases.)
That’s where BRiMM comes in. ‘It’s about rewriting the rules of how we buy and give back whilst showing that living a Planet Positive life can be stylish, inspiring and full of joy,’ says James Haycock, founder and CEO of BRiMM. ‘We combine purposeful commerce, with a curation of the most exciting planet conscious brands creating incredible products, and bring it all together on one platform, making it easy and enjoyable for everyone to reset their everyday.’
So, how does it work? On the surface, BRiMM runs just like any other online marketplace – but the closer you look, the more care you see woven into every product and edit. A team of experts across beauty, fashion, wellness, lifestyle and sustainability are tasked with sourcing and curating a shopfront that focuses on beautiful, design-led brands. These brands are also vetted via BRiMM’s key environmental and social impact filters, as well as its brand ratings partner Good On You.
Membership gets you even further. Ten percent of all member purchases will fund direct climate action, going into a Planet Fund. This fund will help power clean energy and regenerative solutions for partner brands, so that they can measurably reduce their footprint faster. The platform’s first Planet Fund is in collaboration with One Zero Energy and UrbanChain, which will supply BRiMM’s partner brands with discounted renewable energy. (There’s also plenty of other membership perks on offer, from discounts and cashback on purchases to exclusive invites to supper clubs, film screenings and field trips.)
BRiMM membership ranges from £6 to £12 per month. You can find out more about how it works here.
Reset Discovery Boxes
And to kick off the launch of BRiMM, the platform has launched a selection of five curated reset discovery boxes. Made up of beauty, home and foodie treats, the boxes include brands like UpCircle, Bamford, Kinfill, Citzens of Soil, Northern Pasta Co and Steenbergs. Reset boxes start from £45 for members (£65 for non-members). Shop the edit below, or visit wearebrimm.com
