As Ever has announced a second batch of its Napa Valley wine

Since launching earlier this spring, Meghan Markle’s As Ever lifestyle brand has caused quite the stir. From jams to herbal teas and crepe mix, all product releases have sold out at lightning speed, but perhaps the most hotly anticipated item so far has been the rosé wine. On 1 July 2025, the debut drop of As Ever 2023 Napa Valley Rosé sold out in under an hour – and now the Duchess of Sussex has announced that a new vintage will be available to buy next week.

As Ever Announces Second Rosé Release

A newsletter to subscribers of As Ever reads: ‘We hope you’ve been having a beautiful summer. Enjoying the adventure of travel or the calm of home, finding beauty in the little things, and perhaps trying something new. On that note, many of you were able to try our debut 2023 Napa Valley Rose, and we were over the moon to hear your feedback.’

It continues: ‘This affirmed all of the love, time and effort our team, and our founder, poured into curating this blend to evoke the sun-drenched spirit of Napa Valley, and the breathtaking tenor of the California Coast. Thank you for filling our cup. Now it’s time for us to fill your glass!’

The news was also shared on the As Ever Instagram page with a picture of a bottle of rosé being poured into a glass propped up in the sand on a beach, along with the caption: ‘Oh, how we love seeing the world through rose colored glasses. Rosé colored glasses? Perhaps even better. Our new vintage of As Ever’s beloved rosé is available next week. Stay tuned for more details and timing.’

So what can fans expect from the flavour? The As Ever newsletter says the wine ‘marries the same harmony of notes from our first blend and creates an elegant medley of delicate yet memorable flavour.’ The 2023 vintage was a crisp, pale wine with notes of stone fruit, similar to Provençal styles. It cost just under $30 a bottle (approximately £22), available to buy as a set of three, a half case or a full case.

As Ever gained popularity off the back of Meghan’s Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, which focused on the Duchess’ love for cooking and hosting (and is returning for a second series). In the show, we see the royal making an array of dishes alongside friends and chefs – many of which went viral afterwards, including her focaccia and skillet spaghetti.

Meghan’s lifestyle brand was previously known as American Riviera Orchard (a nod to the nickname for Santa Barbara, where she lives with Prince Harry), but she changed the name earlier this year, noting on her Instagram page that ‘as ever’ means ‘as it’s always been’ or ‘in the same way as always’.

The first product drop came on 2 April 2025, featuring products including shortbread cookies and wildflower honey, which all sold out within less than an hour.

Meghan allegedly has plenty of plans for expanding and growing the brand, with whispers of a sparkling wine on the cards, as well as home decor, yoga wear and cookbooks. There are also rumours she plans to open a restaurant, following reports that Meghan has trademarked As Ever for hospitality services.

Meghan is one of many famous figures to launch a rosé brand. Kylie Minogue has seen big success with her eponymous pink wine brand, and Snoop Dogg runs Cali by Snoop in collaboration with Australian wine company 19 Crimes.
