Tasca’s BBQ Party

Despite rave reviews, it will be closing earlier than planned, allowing the duo to focus on finding a permanent site for a restaurant. Haven’t tried it yet? Head down on 7 September for its ‘see you soon’ barbecue party, which will see Dalloway and the team sizzling up dishes on the terrace. Think pintxos, langoustines and bifanas (garlic and spiced pork sandwiches). Complete with paired wine and DJ tunes, it’s the perfect way to see out summer.

For mains, there’s the signature shepherd’s pie, garden vegetable curry, or grilled lemon sole on the bone – a dish fit for a grand dinner service. For dessert, there’s a chocolate dome or a theatrically flambeed apple tart. Enjoy alongside The Gilded Peach Cobbler, a nod to the ‘30s, or you can keep it simple with a glass of champagne.
