For anyone who flinches at the vehemence of ‘anti-Valentine’s’ and who holds the holiday dear, here is a very dear way to celebrate. Three Michelin Stars, one Valentine’s at Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester and–we’re betting–many heart emojis over text on 14 February….
Executive Chef Jean-Philippe Blondet has created a five-course Valentine’s Day dinner menu, available exclusively on Valentine’s Day. Nothing says I love you quite like three Michelin starred ‘Hand-dived sea scallop, pumpkin and Jerusalem artichoke’, ‘Dry-aged beef, ‘Black tie of agria potato’ or a ‘A Heart For Two, chocolate / raspberry’ dessert to share.
The 3 Star Michelin Valentine’s Meal of Your Daydreams
The meal can be enjoyed with a glass of rosé Champagne for £225 per person, but for love that knows no limits, there are even more lavish options. The helpless romantic can also opt for two kinds of ‘Dom Pérignon Experience’ (for two guests). The first package, the ‘2009 Dom Pérignon Experience’ is going for £630, which covers two dinners and one bottle 2009 Dom Pérignon Champagne. Old pros at Valentine’s Day can tackle the ‘Dom Pérignon P2 Experience’, which coasts £940 for two Valentine’s day meals and one bottle of P2 Dom Pérignon Champagne.
You can’t just eat a £940 meal anywhere, so guests also have the option to book the fanciful, Table Lumière. Cocooned by 4,500 shimmering lights, the semi-private table both immerses guests in the restaurant’s buzz whilst lending them a private, glimmering world for the night.
6 of the Best Luxury Blow Dries in London could be some required reading before attending this supper.
