With more than 150 chalet-style stalls scattered across the UNESCO World Heritage city, Bath Christmas Market offers a stylish daycation or festive staycation.

Every year the cobbled streets of historic Bath are transformed into a magical wonderland of sparkling lights, festive stalls and the tempting scent of mulled wine. This is the open-air Bath Christmas Market, which is totally free to visit and comprises hundreds of artisan stalls lining the streets, complimenting the usual independent boutiques and designer stores lining Bath’s streets.

With almost half a million visitors each festive season, the Christmassy stalls will be open once again from 27 November through to 14 December 2025. Here are some of the stalls we will be beelining to.
Wild Wool
Treat yourself or a loved one to something cosy and warm this season. Wild Wool’s winter accessories are made with natural fibres like Shetland, Merino or alpaca wool, with everything from handcrafted scarves to snug throws on offer this Christmas.
Ezpresso
This globally award-winning premium espresso coffee concentrate is sure to make your mornings (and evenings) that little bit better. Hot coffee, cold brew and coffee cocktails will also be on offer this year at the market.
Limelight Bath
Limelight Bath makes some of the South West’s most beautifully scented candles. This year, they are treating customers to brand new products for 2025, including sustainable candle refills and fragrance oils for electronic reed diffusers.
Ubiety
This vegan-friendly and ethical skincare brand donates all of its proceeds to support Dorothy House Hospice – a no brainer.
The Pudding Wagon
This small bakery packs a punch. The Pudding Wagon puts a spin on traditional sweet treats and transforms them into something special. Look out for their brownie bombs and Christmas brownie loafs this season.
The Sip Shed
The perfect stocking filler, The Sip Shed offers award-winning homemade cocktails – also perfect for impressing friends and family with your easy breezy hosting this festive season.
Bath Christmas Market is located in Bath’s city centre, stretching from Abbeygate Street in the South to Milsom Street in the North, with its most central point being the aptly named Stall Street.
If you are travelling by train, the station is only a short walk away from the festivities. There are regular train services from London Paddington and London Waterloo that can get you to Bath in one to two hours.
Travelling by car? Bath is conveniently located just 10 miles from the M4 motorway (junction 18), offering direct links from London and Heathrow Airport. The city is just as easily accessible from the North, Devon, and Cornwall via the M5, while Wales lies just a short drive to the west along the M4.
Bath Christmas Market Dates 2025
Bath Christmas Market returns from Thursday 27 November to Sunday 14 December. Whether you’re there to browse for a loved one’s Christmas gift, sample some of the delightful sweet treats, or simply to soak up the festivities, visitors can peruse stalls from 10am to 7pm Monday to Wednesday, 10am to 8pm Thursday to Saturday, and 10am to 6pm on Sunday.
